We deal in honest communication.
We use the best terms and descriptions for the conversations at hand, not the watered-down, focus-grouped language invented to make HR look “nice.” We’re not mean, rude, or hateful, but we sure as hell aren’t going to twist ourselves into knots to meet fake political standards of “politeness.”
We ask blunt questions, poke holes in bad logic, hyperfocus on facts, and refuse to play along with fake niceties. Our style comes with some extra bite. Sugarcoating BS has never been our strong suit. We refuse to pretend the emperor has clothes. And we’re known to drop f-bombs when we’re amped up.
That said…we don’t tolerate overly-vulgar discussions. Nor do we take kindly to bullying or hateful language.
This isn’t a shock-jock community. Real talk doesn’t mean trash talk.
We’re unWOKE.
We don’t give a flying fuck about identity politics, paid actors, or the posers, perpetual victims, and well-intentioned idiots that seem to make up the followers of the “woke” scene. Woke is a corporatized, political version of a legitimate movement. Headlines might try to sell the idea that being woke is edgy, but it’s mostly virtue signaling and attention-grabbing. Despite what the woke mob proclaims, the gender/sexuality/flag shit that keeps everyone arguing has little to do with actual neurodiversity. We’re cool with people being who they want to be, we’re not cool with the government getting involved in it.
We aren’t exactly politically correct either.
Being politically correct was just Stage 1 of Woke Culture. Both PC-enthusiasts of old and the current “woke mob” love to sell themselves as “inclusive” and “progressive,” but in reality they’re standing in the way of open, honest communication and real change.
They’re just shiny distractions from the same corporate machine that’s been screwing people over for decades. It’s HR with a smiley face sticker, pretending to “care” while funneling money into politics to protect their bottom line. Same playbook as corporate greenwashing and fake charity initiatives: make it look like they’re saving the world, when really they’re just saving their own asses.
Woke culture literally ruins everything it touches, even things that matter (like neurodiversity and the rules of human decency). It allows people to feel self-righteous while they’re being molded into the next keepers of the corporate matrix. Real change? Real understanding and self-discovery? That’s messy, uncomfortable, and inconvenient. And the “woke” machine isn’t built for that.
We understand that not everyone in the business world is a “tool of the man.” We mostly hate the globo-mega-corp scene – and we aren’t big fans of the self-serving types that promote it as a sign of progress. Whether they’re actively doing dirty things to win or just a peddler of the narrative, they’re part of the problem. A lot of businesses are run by good people. Especially the smaller ones. We need more of those businesses. That’s kinda the point. Show us a company doing the right thing by customers, employees, and their community… and we’ll bet there’s a powerhouse of a neurodivergent behind the curtain.
